Columbus Arts Festival

Volunteer at the Columbus Arts Festival with AIA Columbus + NOMA Columbus

AIA Columbus and NOMA Columbus are excited to partner for the 4th year to bring hands-on architectural activities to the Columbus Arts Festival Kids Hands-On Activities Village in front of COSI, June 12–14, 2026. 🎨🏛️

We’re looking for volunteers to help engage children and families through fun, interactive activities that introduce architecture and design in creative ways. Returning this year is the popular pool noodle building station, along with NOMA Columbus’ color-and-cut-out building activity, architecture-themed coloring pages, and informational takeaways about the profession.

Volunteer shifts are broken into 2+ hour time slots throughout the weekend, and we encourage AIA and NOMA members to volunteer together. Whether you’re a student, emerging professional, architect, or industry partner, we’d love to have you join us. 🤝

All volunteers are also invited to a casual get-together/orientation at Little Grand on Saturday, June 6 from 2–4 PM. Snacks provided! 🍴

Help us inspire future designers and connect with the community through architecture.
